Convert an old address to the new one
Type freely or pick from the lists. The answer gives the new address, administrative codes and the legal basis of the merger.
What the converter does
-
Understands natural typing
Reads addresses without diacritics, abbreviations (p., q., tp, hcm), a missing district or small typos.
-
Handles split communes
When an old unit was split between several new ones, all candidates are listed so you can pick by street.
-
Official lists
Checked against the Statistics Office conversion table and the merger resolutions; returns the new official codes.
-
Keeps house number and street
Only the commune and province change; the house number and street you type stay in the new address.
